Amazing natural spectacles and the region's historic heritage will come together to make your camping holiday in Montignac a really special one! With the mediaeval town of Sarlat, the breathtaking cliff at la Roque Saint Christophe, the lovely village of Saint-Armand-de-Coly and plenty more, you'll have so much to choose from! And history lovers will also be well catered for, with all sorts of châteaux around Sarlat to come and visit. As for the food of the Périgord region, you'll be in seventh heaven, with foie gras, truffles, cèpes, confit, walnuts and lots of other things appearing on the menu. Don't forget to take some of the local produce back home with you!

And you really can't come camping in Montignac without spending a few hours in the Lascaux cave, which is sure to stir you. When you come and visit the replica of the cave, you'll be able to admire the artistic talents of its original occupants, who were our ancestors.

The Dordogne is also a fantastic place to enjoy all sorts of outings and hikes, and the Périgord Noir, with its fine landscapes and panoramas, really will blow you away!
